Our beef boxes are produced from our herd of British White cattle which are naturally reared on our farm at Newbold, Coleorton.
They spend all summer grazing on our sweet Leicestershire pastures and the winter in our spacious barns, feeding on hay and silage which we make ourselves plus a little oats or barley which also comes from our farm.
We are a low impact farm which means we use very little or as in the past two years, no chemical fertilizers, just good old farm yard manure.
Our cattle are raised to high welfare standards and rarely require the attentions of a vet, but on the rare occasion they do, only necessary medication is given.
Each 10 Kg box will contain a selection of roasting joints, steaks, burgers and mince and will be hung for 21-28 days to mature- cost £170.
Our next boxes will be available for collection on the 14th September from the farm kitchen.
